Presented by the Allegheny County Bar Association Women in the Law Division

This program is designed for women attorneys who work long hours, carry high responsibility, and often balance demanding careers with motherhood and family life. Many attorneys do not realize how exhausted they are until they reach a breaking point. Over time, chronic stress can reduce clarity, confidence, and the sharp thinking needed to protect clients and make sound decisions.

This program will help participants notice their internal states such as irritation, anxiety, fear, or apathy and understand them as signals, not weaknesses. These states are presented as indicators that something is happening internally and requires attention.

Through simple awareness practices, clinical self-assessment insights, and practical tools, participants will learn how to regulate stress, restore balance, and respond rather than react.

By learning to care for their own mental and emotional state, attorneys strengthen their professional judgment, become better role models for their families, and improve how they support clients and colleagues in high-stress situations.

A portion of the registration fee for ACBA members will be covered by the Women in the Law Division.

Light snacks will be provided, courtesy of the Women in the Law Division.
